XPS 15 Hardware problem
I get the following error when I startup my computer. 0x0000007B
The error is caused by the ATA controller driver. If I remove the driver the computer startup fine. The reason I want to enable this driver is so that I can turn on the Intel Smart Response Technology.
My laptop is model numer L521x.
Any suggestions?

Hi Harish, I have already contacted support and they seem to think its the motherboard.
I ran a System Assessment and i got error 2000-01 42, Validation : 82992 MSG: Hard Drive 0 - S/N 5WS48HA2, Short self test unsuccessful also Long Self Test Unsuccessful.

To get a better understanding of your issue, I request you to share with us all relevant details of the driver you are uninstalling. Also, please let us know the procedure you are following to uninstall the driver.
Performing the following steps will tell us if the issue is due to a hardware or a software failure.
Please hold the "Fn" key down and turn on the system to initiate diagnostics. This will check if all the hardware components are working fine.
Please let us know in case of any errors during the diagnostics.
