XPS m1530 light bleeding
Hi everyone, I received my XPS 1530 last week and I am very amazed with this laptop, everything is fine except for the screen. Seems like I have some sort of backlight bleeding coming from the bottom. When on a dark wallpaper for example it is very noticeable, the top of the screen will be perfect but it turn gray at the bottom. It is verry annoying. I read a bit about that problem and seems to be a problem with the XPS serie. Also read that it could diminishes after a while. I tried with differents strip of color in MS PAINT and it affect mostly dark color like RED, black and blue... The red looks pink at the bottom..... =( I don't know if I should call Dell for a replacement or just live with it. For a $1300 laptop, I expected something perfect. I live in Canada and I only took the 1 year return to depot warranty so I would have to ship laptop to Dell and wait a few weeks before getting it back... and not even sure if problem will be fixed.... Anways, thanks for advice.
