XPS15 Keyboard backlighting question
Just received the new model XPS15 with all the bells and whistles, so far I'm very impressed, especially with the design and build quality. When I was first setting up the machine, I distinctly recall being asked to set the keyboard backlight time out period. When the keyboard light would go out, say after 5 secs, 15 secs, etc.
Now I cannot find that setting anywhere. I have searched the Help, through the Settings and Control Panel, and Googled for hours. Cannot find it. There is nothing in the Mobility Center for Keyboard backlighting timeout, not the power settings. Can anyone help?

Hello. On my Latitude E5420 with win7 it's at Start>All Programs>Dell System Manager>Dell Systems and Devices Manager>Keyboard Backlight.
Probably somewhere else on your XPS though. You might get better results by posting on the General Hardware board -- your thread is currently on the Laptop audio board.

Hi Jim, many thanks for your thoughtful answer. Doh, I see I did indeed post this in the wrong section, hopefully I can repost in Gen Hardware and get some assistance. I checked but my XPS15 does not have a Dell System Manager section.
The strange thing is, I know there is a place to change the backlighting timeout, and I came across it when I first unboxed this beauty, or I would not have given it any thought. Cannot find it now....
