Migrating from HP XP20000 to the VPLEX Server 2012 WSFC
We are currently in the process of migrating from our old storage to the VNX with VPLEX.
We have managed to successfully claim the luns from the XP for 2003 MSCS and 2008 MSCS.
Not so successfull with 2012 WSFC.
I am able to claim the LUN from the HP XP but as soon as you bring the server back up after creating the storage view the disk become critical on the VPLEX and RAW in windows but obviously not useable.
Snip from the firmware log below:

Call has been logged with support but looking for someone else who may have seen this problem?

Before you bring them Online.
I would stop cluster on all nodes, then Clear reservation, the ump from host, map to VPLEX …

With WFC scsi reservation has been introduced.
The lock is been held from the HP and VPLEX tries to CLAIM I guess.
Do you have Powerpath installed on that host ?
You can clear the cluster reservation with Clear-ClusterDiskReservation -Disk #

Thanks for responding.
Would you run this command before the disks are brought online in Windows?
Should have mentioned the disks are offline when the server starts up.
They become critical as soon as you bring them online.
