1280x1024 resolution on 1704fpt does not work
I just bought a 1704fpt LCD monitor because I loved using it on other computers. However, higher resolution settings cause signal to be lost to the monitor, and it goes into sleep mode. The refresh rate is at 60 Hz. What is happening?
I have an ATI Raedon 9200 64MB video card hooked up to the monitor using only the DVI cable supplied with the monitor. The card is only a year old, but I downloaded the newest drivers just in case. Still, any resolution higher than 1152x864, and the monitor goes into sleep mode. I was able to run that resolution on my 17" crt before, so I don't know what the problem is. I have tried all of the auto adjust features on the monitor and the graphics card, plus trying to tweak other things. My card does support screen rotation just fine as well.
Does anyone have an idea? I haven't found any other forums relating to this problem. Thanks.
