1702FP vs. 1702FP "UltraSharp" - is there a difference?
I currently have a 1702FP UltraSharp monitor (mgf. date is 12/2002), and am looking for a second for dual monitor set-up, and cannot find anyone to answer the question.......is there a difference between the 1702FP, and 1702FP UltraSharp?
Everyone I send this question to displays the same 1702FP standard tech specs, contrast ratio, etc. but is not answering if there is a difference between machines labeled with the "UltraSharp" and not labeled.
There are many out there available, some folks specify "UltraSharp", and some don't. Want to make sure we talking about the right monitor.
thanks

There is no difference. Midway through the product life of the 1702FP Dell came up with the trademark "Ultrasharp" for their premium series of monitors. Thus the 1702FP became an Ultrasharp without any changes to the monitor itself! IMHO these are all ultra-sharp! (We've got two of them)
