1704FPT color - too blue

hey recently i bought a 1704FPT cuz i thought it was time for dual monitors on my system. the other monitor i have is a 1703FP that is now over a year old. the 04 is hooked up from the DVI port and the 03 is in D-Sub. when i first turned the 04 on i immediatley noticed it was too blue, so i went through the motions of trying to correct color and brightness but the image still looked wrong. then i tried using nvidia's color calibration wizard that comes on the ForceWare. i calibrated both monitors and still the 04 display is tinted blue. im not sure whats causing this to happen but i need to figure it out. im only in high school but i love using graphics programs like photoshop and stuff and the difference in color between the two monitors is killin me. any help is a appreciated. btw im using a 6600GT vid card

If you've already tried all the adjustments in both the monitor and the nVidia control panel, it's likely you have a faulty monitor. Do you have an alternate system or videocard that you could test the monitor with, it's possible that your DVI output is faulty on the videocard itself, but I think it more likely a problem with the monitor. I would call Dell and request a replacement.

well im pretty sure its not the card. just last week i was using a FX5200 and i had the same problem. so its most likely the monitor. i will try all the adjustments again, maybe i overlooked something. if all else fails i'll contact dell. thanx for the help
