1905FP Replacement?
So I bought the Dimension 9150 with the 1905FP monitor earlier this month. I was extremely disappointed with the monitor, as 3 different reps said it was AWESOME for gaming. Boy they lied! Dell decided they were going to screw me and make me pay an extra $150 to send back the Ultrasharp and get the analog monitor. Keep in mind I had already paid $80 to upgrade from the analog to the ultrasharp. That is an extra $230 to get trade the 1905FP for a monitor that they were giving me for free at the time of purchase!! Needless to say, I sent the entire system back eventhough I loved it, just so I could get the monitor I wanted without getting raped.
With that said, the E196FP is now being offered with the Dimension 9150 which is a monitor that I am seriously considering, but does anyone know if/when a replacement for the 1905FP will be out? Any specs?
I really like the fact that the E196FP has an 8ms response time but it would be nice to have a 19" ultrasharp with DVI, USB ports, etc. Hopefully the 1905FP replacement will be sub 16ms.
Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

E196FP might be a good monitor, but the E stands for Economy, and only has an analog connector, not both analog and digital, and in my opinion, not the better one to look at. If you ever get a good video card with a digital ( DVI) connector someday, you will not be able to use it with that monitor, NEVER. No, Dell never pre-announces any new monitors or systems. We just have to get lucky and on some other site someone might has some inside information. But, it will be replaced someday for sure...

Umm, beg to differ: The DVI connector on most current video graphics cards are in fact "DVI-I", which output both digital AND analog signals. To connect such a card to an analog monitor, all you need is a cheap (about US $10) DVI-to-VGA adapter. I'm using this arrangement right now to connect my MSI 6800GT-based graphics card (which has two DVI-I connectors only) to my NEC analog CRT monitor.
However, if your graphics card only has a "DVI-D" connector, which outputs digital signal only, then the adapter approach will not work with your analog monitor and you must use a digital monitor.

I just wanted to know if anyone knew of a replacement for the 1905FP? If so, any specs and expected release date? I just want to know if I should hold out for this summer or go ahead and take the plunge.
BTW: Anyone know the exact dimensions of the 2405FP. The more I wait, the more I entertain the idea of that monitor.

I see a difference between DVI, and Analog, and what's this " so lay that to rest ," bit ? They were all trying to help, and you came off with this lay that to rest attitude.
