1905FP UltraSharp Flat Panel has no power
Question: Can someone tell me how to send my monitor back for repair?
Monitor: 1905FP UltraSharp Flat Panel needs to be sent back for repair.
Purchased Date: March 11 2005
Symptoms: No Video/ Power LED off
Description:No picture, monitor is dead
Solutions: Tried all 3 but none of them worked.
- Check connection integrity at both ends of the video cable
- Ensure the monitor and computer are plugged in to a working electrical outlet.
- Ensure power button depressed fully
Service Contracts: None
Has anyone else had this problem?
Will I get a new monitor, a refurbished one or will they just fix mine and send it back.
Thanks.

JGG,
Contact the Dell Techies by phone or by chat to properly troubleshoot this issue and arrange for a replacement monitor. If your monitor was purchased as part of a complete system, have the system "service tag" for the Dell Techie. If the monitor was purchased separately, you will need the order number on which the monitor was purchased.
Dell will send you a refurbished monitor, not a new one. They will send you the monitor and you will have to send the broken one back. They will have it refurbished and keep it in stock for when someone else needs a replacement monitor or they will re-sell it as a refurbished monitor.

Thanks Steve for your quick response.
I bought the monitor by itself and as a result I don't have a Code to get me into their systems. I'm always kicked out with the message stating that I am a Business user but I'm a Home User! I guess I'm going to have to phone. Thanks again.
