2005 FPW keeps powering off

I've recently purchased a monitor 2nd hand off ebay and it's fine when it works :(

 

Basically it works for a while and then just goes dead, sometime later it'll come back on indicating it's a heat/power issue.

 

It's manufactured in Feb 2006 so I would assume it's still in warranty, but it's proving difficult to check.

 

What's the warranty on these models?

 

I've e-mail dell tech support with the serial number, but haven't heard anything back from them yet.

 

In the mean time I'm still trying to get hold of the chap from ebay :(
