2005FPW Osd menu totally locked down.

Someday ago when was about to enter the OSD on my Dell 2005FPW monitor I noticed that the osd was not appearing but a padlock showed up?

How do I "unlock" this so that I can alter the settings on the monitor OSD menus?

Danny,

For some reason you have the OSD lock on, I think to take it off you select the on screen menu, scroll down (monitor - + buttons) to OSD settings and from there only OSD lock will be accessible, de-select lock option and all should work,

djanlov,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Click the link below to view the online manual for this monitor. It will provide information on how to unlock the osd controls.

Issue resolved. I needed to hold the "return lookalike"-button. Thanks.

I too am getting nothing but the padlock for the OSD menu. I have tried holding down the menu button for 15 seconds per the documentation and nothing happens...I have held for much longer than 15 seconds as well. Please help with this issue!!!
