2007 FP - Yellow tape like layer on upper left corner.

Does anybody have a yellow strip of stuff at the top left hand corner of the Dell 2007FP monitor?
It is like a piece of tape going diagonally.
It gives a yellow tint to anything that goes into that corner part of the screen.
Before, it was only a tiny bit. Now, it seems like it's moving down.

This has been mentioned in at least 2 threads earlier. Have a look.
From memory it is a fault with some sort of protection tape around the panel.
Exchange as it can't be fixed yourself.
cheers

Wow! I'm very impressed with Dell's speed of solving this problem.
I got home today and I see Fedex have came to deliver my new Dell 2007FP monitor already for exchange!
:-D

Thanks Dell! Awesome job!

Discovered this message by googling for "yellow upper left corner". I have the problem on my Dell 2007 FP too. It's down to the top of the "F" of "File" of the file menu. That's after a year (or maybe it's only been 6 months) of slow growth.
