2007FP Banding (wasn't this solved?)
Just got my new 2007FP (4:3 - not widescreen) and it shows significant banding - i.e. if there is an image feature with contrast, it shows a trailing band off to the right about 3" long which is most evident when that region is a uniform color.
I tried turning down the color settings as far as 60% which helps only a bit. The serial number ends in L, which according to another thread means it is a S-IPS display. I'm driving via VGA cable (as if a laptop could even give me a DVI option!). Holding the menu&+ buttons down on power-up then pressing "-" shows V1B22 and HN210 at the top. BIOS rev is A05; mfg date is August 2007. Changing from desktop, multimedia, and gaming mode all show the same effect.
I've been reading many threads and I'm out of ideas. Time to return it?
Thanks.

Hmm. We could have sent out part NF917, VGA cable for all monitors.
