2007WFP - Blacks become distorted (purple/yellow) when viewed from an angle

Question

Hi, I'd appreciate any help with fixing this. The problem is present whether I use DVI or VGA inputs (in fact, it is present if the monitor is powered on but not hooked up the my computer), and I haven't had any luck with resetting it or anything. This is also noticeable in the corners of the screen even if I view the monitor dead on. I also have a Dell 2007FP and it does not suffer from this problem. Any ideas, or do I simply have a defective monitor? My monitor is REV A02, if that matters. Thanks for the help.
