2007WFP display(i.e. toolbars) too large with M90
I recently upgraded my workstation to an M90 with a port replicator. With this upgrade came the new 20"" LCD monitor (2007WFP) and a port replicator. These are company issued and I had no input. The M90 has the nVidia 2500 graphics card. When using the laptop screen, all toolbars and icons are quite small (which I like) and allow for a huge amount of working landscape in my applications even with all my usual toolbars on and docked. When I plug in the monitor however, the the display (though centered) is quite large. In other words, it looks as if there is some uncommanded scaling going on. What I really want is to have the same size icons and toolbars as the m90 displays even if it means sacrificing some display area along the sides. I have tried all preset resolution combinations provided by nVidia without success. Am I missing something obvious or is this just not possible?
