2007WFP USB Microsoft wireless keyboard not working on boot anymore

I have an E521 and 2007WFP. I have been using the USB port on the side of the monitor with my MS wireless keyboard and mouse. It was working fine and when the boot menu appeared (I dual boot XP and Vista) the keyboard worked fine. It is not working anymore and I have to plug the keyboard into the front of the computer. Any ideas on what happened? Are there new drivers I can download?

Not sure why stopped working but installed Bios upgrade and USB keyboard is working plugged into monitor now so I can boot into XP without having to plug into the computer. I use the keyboard with my laptop so I need to be able to access it quickly which is why it was an issue.

lydian93,

Try this and let me know the results.

* Power off the monitor
* Disconnect all cabling from the bottom and/or sides of the monitor (especially the power cord)
* While disconnected, press and hold the monitor power button down for 5 seconds
* Reconnect only the monitor power cord and either the #1 blue VGA or #2 white DVI (not both)
* Power on the monitor
* The PC should already be on. The monitor should auto sense the #1 blue VGA or #2 white DVI. If it does not, press the Input Select button and change to #1 VGA or #2 DVI
* Reconnect the monitor USB uplink cable to the monitor and then the PC
* Plug in the USB device to the monitor

Thank you, but I tried this and did not work. Bios upgrade seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the reply.
