2009WFP tech spec

Question

Can anyone tell me what panel the Ultrasharp 2009WFP 20' uses?   Is it a S-PVA or S-IPS??   Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys!   Was hoping it would be S-IPS as was 2008WFP as I am told this is better for work on photographs in Photoshop.   Thanks again.

just for clarification...

There is no model number 2009WFP - they dropped the FP for this model, so it's just 2009W.

Nor is there a model number 2008WFP - they skipped that one. There is a 2007WFP which used both S-IPS and S-PVA panels, but you are right, they would be better for photo work.

What is wrong with Dell. Now if you want a 20' widescreen your only choice is to get a junky TN Panel. Not even PVA. I wish TN Panels will just die. They are terrible. They don't even give you full color, only 6-bit and their viewing angles are horrible. You have to just stare strait at the monitor. If my 2007FP ever goes I won't be getting a Dell Monitor that is for sure.

The thing that really bugs me is that they already have a 2 other monitors at the same time that are TN Panels. Ultrasharps suppose to mean better panels but now they have TN Panels. What is next the 2049WFP monitor only having a TN Panel and not even a PVA Panel then the 30' having the same junk panel.
