2209wa Dark line through middle
I have been noticing lately that I have a spot in the middle of my monitor where it has a thick dark line through the middle vertically. I also have a spot which seems like it is behind the pixels. I will include pictures. I have tried a different monitor, ports, video card drivers and even tried this monitor on a separate computer and the line nor spot goes away.

Has this been resolved? I have the same problem. My dark line/smudge is on the left side, runs vertically where task bar used to be. It is hard to see on white or black background, but all other colors are really bad. Photograph is with medium gray backgrond.
I have tried a different monitor, ports, video card drivers and even tried this monitor on a separate computer and the line nor spot goes away.

This problem was resolved by Dell (Chris and John) in a fast, efficient and professional manner. Anyone with a similar problem should contact Dell Order Support for your country. The Dell reputation for reliable cusdtomer service is well earned.
