2405 issue. Not saving my color settings..

I just pieced together my new rig and am running into an issue with my x1900xt not saving it's color settings when I log on (or off in some cases).

When I log into win XP, the colors are fine for a few seconds, then all my reds disappear causing an extreme blue push. I have to go into the catalyst control center and 'restore defaults' under color and then everything is fine. I noticed my 3D settings (AA, ansitropic, etc) are not saving either. Thing is, I need to restore defaults each and every time I log in.

I'm running on a dell 24" widescreen, DVI, and am running Catalyst 6.3 if that helps any.

Anyone know where the drivers are for the monitor? The manual has a readme which states how to install them, but i do not see the actual drivers anywhere on the disk.  I cant find them online.  I think this may be part of my issue.  My video card catalyst control center show the monitor as a dell 2405, however windows is showing it as a plug and play device.  Id like to avoid using MS drivers for this hardware but am stuck atm since i cant find the real deal..
