2407 RevA03 Really fixed Problem?I don't think so~~~

I want to know that any one really find out that revA03 can fix the banding problem? I waiting for 2 month and finally they accept can replace my A02 with A03, I check the banding issue with DVI input, all look same as A02....the vertical banding still there. These make me so disappointed because I really think that Dell can solve the problem. Now nothing change but one new problem appear, I got a dead dot.....

PS. Now I really feel reget to buy Dell montior. ( The CS from Dell told me that Dell never release A03, so they can not replace the montior to me. until one day I show a quotation from Dell,
" Dear Mr XXX
As consult with TS, 24"LCD is A03 right now. Pls kindly refer the Quotation as enclosed. And some details info. would be stated after the product description. " I attached the e-mail to them and finally they accept me to change. and before that they insist of they never heard about RevA03, I seem this just like a Cheating and wasting my time.

Which display mode do you have the monitor in? Are you using DVI or VGA?

I received my A03 about two weeks ago and I love it..

Yeah, nothing is perfect. You didn't buy the big lcd to watch banding, right? come on, don't be so picky.

The 2407 A03 is now truly a great 8-bit monitor.
A03 fixes:
1. The banding problem is corrected through DVI in desktop mode. I have a hard time finding banding in Multimedia mode and that depends on the type of content. That's the most important fix.
2. The OSD language fix Dell states, even though I don't know exactly what language it was.
3. The monitor does not default to the S-Video input setting. If you set it to component in, it will remember this setting the next time you use video inputs.
4. 480P thru component input shows as 480P in OSD not as 480I like it use to
5. Component in from a DVD standalone is fully adjustable for Color, sharpness, saturation and other settings. DVD's look great.
To anyone that thinks component is a waste of space is just plain wrong; you just have to get use to adjusting the monitor thru the OSD.
