2407 Warm-up / Cool-down noises
Hi all.
I have had a 2407 A02 for about four months now and it makes a goodly number of cracking and popping noises for the first hour or so that it is on and then for an hour after it is off. These noises sound like the plastic in the monitor expanding some or shrinking as the monitor warms-up and cools-down.
Is this normal? It isn't a big deal while the monitor is on, but I live in a small studio and when I go to bed at night having the monitor snapping, cracking, and popping for an hour gets to be annoying!

My 2407 doesn't make any of those noises. You can get it replaced but it will be a used exchange unless you are inside of the initial 21 days from the invoice date.
