2407WFP buttons NOT working! (can't unlock either!)
I got the 24" 2407 3 days ago, worked fine upon connected and turned on for less than an hour. Yesterday I put a DVD to watch on the PC, and about an hour into the movie, the OSD menu showd up all on its own and when I tried pressing the Menu button to unload it a big LOCK appeared in the center of the screen.
Since then, absolutely none of the buttons are working. Not the Signal selection button, not the PiP/PbP button, not the MENU button, not the "-"/"+" buttons, and worst of all, the POWER button! I already tried everything I read, 15 seconds holding the Menu button to unlock doesn't work either. It seems as if the whole button panel is locked with no way to unlock it.
Is this a known issue? Is there a way to fix it? Is the Monitor faulty?

I tried pressing the "-" and "+" buttons, the "Menu" and "+" buttons, the "Power", all shortly and for a period of time, yet they don't answer. None of them do anything, and the screen is stuck at "ON", since I can't turn it off other than unplugging it. To have it take another signal input, I have to disconnect all but the one I want it to take and unplug-replug. Console is completely out. Light on Power button works normally: Green when on, Orange when it enters power saving mode.
This screen does not have channel up/down or sound up/down buttons, just the "-" and "+" which are for Menu operation I believe. Nonethless, I tried what you said to no avail.

Try this and let me know the results -
* A message appears stating that the OSD and buttons are locked
* Press the volume decrease and channel up buttons on the monitor simultaneously
-or-
* Press the channel up and volume increase buttons on the monitor simultaneously
* A message appears stating that the OSD and buttons are unlocked

None of the buttons responded and then he got a big padlock blinking on the screen.
The only way I got it to go away was by changing the screen's resolution. I posted step by step instructions on this page.
