2407WFP-HC Questions...
I have the 2407WFP-HC and the revision A00, and have heard that there are problems with this version? Is there a difference between the 2407WFP-HC and just the 2407WFP? Also does anyone know if there is any new drivers or versions you can update to? The screen for the most part looks good, but there is some banding when doing graidents in photoshop and some slight ghosting at times. Any Tips or info would be awesome! thanks!

Some users complained of slight ghosting but most decided the issue was too small to return the monitor. There will not be another version of the monitor to correct this slight ghosting. I have not seen any reports of banding on this monitor. Photoshop tends to bring them out due to its Adobe Gamma software/profiles which take the monitor outside of our factory preferences.

odd....for a start, it has been said in no uncertain terms that the 2407WFP-HC has only one panel revision. The second panel listed there I guess is possibly a typo from Chris (is it Chris?) since the LTM270M1 listed is a 27" module anyway!
For the 2407WFP it has been questioned whether Dell swapped the panel in the later revisions, with some suggestions floating around that it was now S-IPS. If that info above is right, the M240UW01 panel mentioned must be the M240UW01 V4 panel (which matches the 2407WFP's spec apart from having 400 cd/m2 brightness and a 92% gamut). It COULD be possible Dell are using this panel though, which is AMVA and might explain some user observations regarding a difference in viewing angles.
Chris, can you confirm at all?
