2407wfp no display during post and until windows logon

Question

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody had the same problem? There is only a blank screen until the windows 98(SE) logon. I am using an old Pentium 3 on a BX motherboard with a ATI 7500 video card. It is connected by DVI-D. Any help appreciated.

This seems to be a problem with older ATI cards. It has been fixed with a BIOS update for some. See explanation here:

Hi,   I am having the same problem but with XP Pro SP2 and I looked at the link and seem cannot find any relevant information for my case.   I am also using M65 and 2407 is attached to VGA port.   Thanks.

Hello, I've switched to the VGA input and the pre-Windows screen is visible, but the picture isn't as clear as the DVI-D input. I am not game enough to flash the video bios. I think I'll just swap inputs if I need to access the bios on boot-up. Thanks for the help.
