2407WFP Rev.04 Horizontal line issue

To those who view and give advice, thanks in advance.  I have an odd problem and I don't know what the cause is.

This problem is intermittent in all inputs but happens much more(90% of the time or more) on the analog side of the monitor or pretty much anytime I use the monitors built in 1:1 pixel mapping.  For a little background of my setup, I am running a Geforce 7800GT running at 1920X1200 through dvi and a Xbox 360 through my VGA port.

Now to the problem.  First I can say that it doesn't have anything to do with colors or image quality from a display standpoint.  The monitor is absolutely amazing in this regard and I have no complaints.  Where things go bad is that when i'm playing games or doing anything that has moving video(DVDs, MPGs, etc) I have what looks like image tearing at three very specific points on the screen.  If you took the whole of the screen, and cut it into 3 horizontal stripes of equal width, it seams that each stripe operates independently and at the border between any 2 of them the image is rarely consistant throughout.  In other words, when there is moving video it looks like the image is broken.  It is hard to describe because its more of a tear, unlike alot of the problems i've read about in regard to color banding.  With some inputs on pixel mapping such as the component and composit connections the image doesn't even to be moving to notice this horizontal line that goes right through the middle of the display.  It just looks like a string of very thin white thread or one horizontal line of pixels that stays on all the time(problem much more descriptive).

I can't take a camera shot because the camera simply won't capture it.

I would really like to solve this problem or find out if its a design flaw so that I can get it fixed.  Please let me know if there is any information that can be used to help future figure this out.  The one thing I do know is that it does it with multiple sources, so that does point at the monitor.

Ok.  Well I have another way to show the problem that is easily reproduceable using my computer and its DVI port.  I'm not sure what sort of media you have for testing but i'll explain what i'm using to reproduce it.  First, pick a game that has motion in it(static images do not show the problem well).  In my case i'm using Supreme Commander but I can see it in various games so its not really game specific.  Second, make sure you are using the monitor's 1:1 mapping and not the video cards.  The reason is that I have had this problem for awhile but it only shows up while using the monitors built in mapping.  If I use my Nvidia drivers to do the mapping for me(i.e. centering the output(1280X1024) while maintaining the native 1920X1200 to the monitor), the problem does not show up. Turn on your game of choice, change the resolution in game to 1280X1024, and then make sure the monitor is then set to 1:1.  I chose supreme commander because the title screen actually plays a video in the background that is perfect to see the problem.  After doing these things, and sitting at the main screen with the video playing, in the very center of the screen there is a horizontal "line" that looks like it literally cuts the top half of the screen from the bottom half, or to explain more, it looks as if the monitor is displaying the top and bottom halves independently of each other and there is a noticeable barrier between the two.  In order to prevent this problem from showing up, I started to use my drivers to do my 1:1 mapping for me but I felt that if there was a problem with my monitor then i needed to fix it.  I also managed to exclude my pc as the problem because this problem appears when i use the other inputs on my monitor.  I have tried my ps2 through the composite and components inputs(I have both cables) and I have tried my gamecube on the composite.  Also, this problem only appears when using 1:1.  If I choose aspect or stretch it does not show up.

I hope this all helps.  I understand this isn't the easiest problem to troubleshoot but I appreciate all the help.  I would probably let this go but 1:1 mapping is one of the reasons I purchased this monitor.
