2707 HELP!

Right heres the problem (it could be to do with XP Pro x64 i dont know). I got the new 2707WFP on Friday (22nd) and i pluged everything in Including the USB upstream cable. Windows said it found new USB device, and then it failed saying it couldn't find anyhting for it, i look in device manager and sure enough there it is under unknown devices 'Usb device' with a little yellow exclamation mark - No Drivers.

So, Does anyone know of anything i can do except hassle Dell to release x64 driver support for thier 9 in 2 Card reader.

Thankyou,

Owen

P.s I know its not the screen cause i plugged the usb cable into his and it worked straight away.

While I can't be 100% about this, but the 2707 comes with a CD - that CD contains the Drivers for Windows XP, as well as the documentation for the monitor.

You might try installing the 2707 Driver from the CD-Rom-

    Hope this help-

I think I've sorted the problem, for numerous reasons I decided to do a Repair install.

Well, it worked fine and now the card reader works fine, unfortunatly a few other problems have resulted from the install but thats nothing to do with the screen, sooo.

Well its fixed at the moment.....

For future referance the setup cd contains stuff for screen resolution, (after reading the .inf file) and the stup.exe does not work with x64 at all.
