82945G and wide resolutions
Hi,
I would like to purchase a wide screen flat panel for my gx620. It has intel's 82945g onboard video. The monitors that I have looked at all have odd native resolutions. When I check my display properties and uncheck the box to hide modes that this monitor can't display, the resolutions in question are not shown in the list. Intel's website implies that their setup can display any resolution that the monitor requests, but that it is implementation dependent and to check with the manufacturer. I thought I'd ask here first.
Simply put: can the onboard 82945g grapics 'solution' drive an LCD at the higher widescreen resolutions. I think the resolution of the monitors I was looking at were 1440x900 and 1680x1050. If there is someone out there who is using a widescreen LCD with the 82945g could you let me know what resolution you're getting out of it.
Thank you,
MD
edit: changed resoloutions to specs that actually exist

I would like to second this info request. I've got a ViewSonic VA1916w display connected to a gx520 with the intel 82945g which I currently can't get to display at 1440x900. Am I looking at a new video card to make this work?
Thanks,
Jim
