Are model numbers the same as OEM part numbers?
What are the oem part numbers for the items listed below? Is the model number the same as the oem part number? If not, what are they? The Dell website is of no help since the products are dated.

There is no 1 part number for the laptops, depending on how many configurations that were offered there may be 3 or 4 just for the base.
The monitors are a little easier, the part number is the 5 digit number in the PPID. If your PPID# e.g DS/N is JP-021KEV-42011-12C-0343 then the part number would be 42011.
