Artifacts with 2407fwp and x1950pro

Hi people i have a 2407 rev4. The problem is when the monitor returns from stand by mode it began to do blue artifacs in blacks colors and yellow artifacs in white colors. I made a print screen and paste in paint and the artifacs didn't appear. I think that is not a problem of my shaphire x1950pro. Also i test the video card with ati tray tool artifacs tester with a temp of 70º, runing 3dmark05 and i didn't generate any artifac. Sorry for my english.

hedevils,

Does this occur on both the video card DVI and VGA ports?

I have a 2407 rev4 and it does the same thing.  I'm using the DVI output from an ATI Radeon 9600 graphic card.  The blue dots and lines and the yellow splodges clear if I switch off the monitor and switch back on.  They also go if I press the input source select button to toggle through the various source options and back to DVI.  I'm just trying to figure out if this is a fault with the monitor or the graphics card (I don't have access to another monitor with DVI connection to try).

electrogen,

Do they ever appear in the bios setup or safemode? If not, the issue is with either the video card driver or the video card.
