Atari ST VGA issues
Bit of a strange request... I've got an Atari 1040ST with an adaptor cable to convert to running on VGA I'm using an E771a monitor, however the monitor hasn't synched so I believe I need to access the horizontal and vertical moire, but when accessed I can't alter the values. The correct settings should be 35.7 horizontal and 71.2 vertical. I've been led to believe that it should be possible to run the old Atari through a modern monitor. Has anyone got any ideas?

The 13 pin ST/VGA adapter cable was inserted into the Atari ST upside down, apparently it is a common error as the recess on the plug for some reason is turned at 180 degrees. I have mentioned it to the supplier. All working well now.
