C3422WE, M2T112 firmware issue
Latitude 7400 2-in-1
C3422WE have updated to M2T112 just in the last week released. however, after updating, the monitor flicks on and off when coming out of sleep, webcam and mic doesn't work and not detected, microphone button on the front of monitor is always lit up red. no buttons on the front for teams works anymore. i only get the dell speaker option for audio output and when selected, no audio comes out, and the echo-cancelling speaker phone option in audio output and input no longer is detected or is an option. all using usb-c. use to work right before update.

All any of you can do is contact DELL-Cares agent via private message. Provide to them the private Service Tag and and all of your troubleshooting. If still inside the purchased warranty, get an exchange. Outside of the first 30 days from the Dell invoice will result in a used exchange.

Try forcing the M2T112 firmware to install over itself. Then retest.
If still no go, try installing the previous M2T110 firmware over M2T112 firmware.

I have tried to but the firmware update utility does not allow firmware re-flashes (with current firmware version) or any kind of downgrade.

Good morning! Exact same issues for me (no webcam, speakers or microphone anymore and no Teams commands) and exactly same issues for solving (impossible to reflash firmware with same firmware or to downgrade). Noticed that during re-flash attempt the screen switches briefly off before coming back on and this seems to make the firmware update process crash (I don't remember having seen this in previous updates).
It would be great to have an update very soon as I'm using this monitor for my home office setting and now I have to work on a 14 in laptop... thanks in advance!

Same issue for me. Tried to do the re-upgrade and down-grade firmware from both Mac and windows. The same issue. Also, tried the monitor factory reset, and the same issue applies.

This is a common issue also to me. Not only the webcam and mic stoped working, but also it is is impossible to install and replace the firmware with an older version.
Some answer needs to be given by Dell support with a new firware without bugs or a way to downgrade the firmware!!

Try this and post your results =
Disable DDM (Dell Displays Manager)
Close/push down camera
Run the Windows OS firmware
