Clarify, you say DDM2, do you mean DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager)?

Which three new Dell monitor models?

Connected to what computer model?

Yes DDM 2.0 and a dell G5 desktop with three S271HGF monitors.
Its the App thats broke not the hardware that supports it.
As may people have pointed out the choice to use the mouse to select which screen the shared hotkey uses to toggle between inputs is just simply stupid.
I need to be able to use say ctrl-shift-1 to swap inputs on monitor one ONLY, irrespective of the mouse being on a different screen, or even the mouse pointer even being visible on any screen. And then -2 and -3 to toggle the other two monitors independantly.
An earlier version of the app supported that but when I updated the app to support my newer monitors the functionality had been nerfed.

Still trying to get on the same page with you as far as naming.

DDM = Dell Display Manager
DDPM = Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

DDM 1 & 2 are end of life as of May 15, 2025 and no longer available as downloads.

The S2721HGF drivers page shows DDPM 2.2.0.19.

My last post was removed so I'll try again.

Yes, the DDM 2 is still available for download, which I was able to do today.

But, I followed the recommendation and downloaded DDPM for my two S2721DGF monitors connected to two different Surface laptops. The same functionality exists. There is only one hotkey allowed for switching on both monitors. The old DDM 1 had a hotkey for each monitor so you could switch both monitor inputs from the same computer without moving the mouse to the desired monitor - which doesn't work if one of the monitors is connected to the other computer, you have to physically go to the other computer to switch.

Ok so Dell software update had not picked up the product replacement.
Now running latest DDPM, and was hoping for a Eurika moment, but sadly no.
Same poor choice of "move the mouse I cannot see as my monitors are connected to a completely different device and then hope that its on the screen I want to toggle"

Even though the app seems to suggest I can assign different keys - why allow me to use the drop down for a specific monitor if you dont remember the different values i entered in the configuration.
New product, little change and the basic "its broke" still exists.
And before anyone suggests I cannot install DDPM on all the connected devices - corporate policy.

Still an issue - does anyone one know how we can escalate these type of poor design to the dell support/design  team so that they listen to their users and try to improve their products?

Anyone would get the problem if you simply ask them to swap inputs over multiple monitors without touching a mouse/pointer.
All they need to do is allow us to assign different hot keys to different monitors, as they did on the previous generation products, and have an option to ignore the mouse location completely - I bet it would work faster as well then :)
