Dell 2407wpf power button problem / no service tag on LCD!?!?

Did you check the box? My service tag for my Dell 2709W monitor was on the box.

No I dont have the box. My dell is more then 2 years old now.

Monitors do not have service tag numbers

Monitor warranty is linked to the machine it was purchased with

or based on the order # if it was purchsae as a stand-a-lone

 

You're mostly correct.  The only Dell LCD monitors with a service tag and express service tag are the 27" and 30" models.  The 24" and below models, to date, only have serial #s.

What can I do now to get a warranty service on that LCD?
