Dell 2408WFP and Mac compatibility?

Is the 2408WFP monitor fully compatible with Macs, specifically a current-version MacBook Pro 15" dual-booting OS X and Windows XP?  It's important that I know this before committing to buy the monitor.

Thanks,

Scott

should be fully compatiable with your Mac in both OsX and WinXP. Macbook Pro should have a DVI port on the side and this monitor fully supports dual link DVI. You shouldn't need an adapter at all but I guess I would ask someone at the Mac Store. You could take the specs of the monitor there and ask him what kind of port is on a Macbook Pro dual link DVI or single link... either one is supported

I run this monitor on my MacBook and it runs great.

When using this monitor with your MacBook, does the monitor come with CD containing drivers and other monitor-specific software, and if so, is there a set for OS X?  Or are you just driving the monitor using native OS X drivers?

Thanks.

Yes, the monitor comes with some drivers, but I didn't try them because I think they're Windows only. I run it with the native OS X drivers and it recognizes it perfectly. No issues whatsoever.
