Dell 2709 WFP Pricing?

Question

I was just alerted to the fact that Dell Canada has these panels for $599 Canadian dollars, which is slightly less than that in US $. I just checked the Dell Home US site and they are $899.

Why on earth would we pay $300 plus more, or is it going on sale here in the US sometime soon? It would be nice if the US site would match the price at least....

that was our Canadian 'days of deals', a good one too. the price is back to 899.
