Dell M783s problem....

Question

Hi!

I'm having problems with my Dell M783s 17" monitor...

When i use my pc it's doing red/brown bars on the screen...

I try the folowings things to get rid of this:

- Updating all drivers
- Allowing 256mb or ram to my video card (onboard video) and 8mb forthe buffer
- I also try it on a nother computer with no success

if someone can help me...

How long have you been using the monitor?
If the monitor suddenly started showing the bars, it could be broken.

How do the bars look like?
Usually dying monitors get the colors changed.

Also did you try to change your cable?

If you have still it's warranty, you should try to get it replaced by dell.

Apparently the problem is that some components are too close together.

Thanks j4z for the link... So it's like that it's Samsung monitors under the logo of Dell.... It's a lot 50,000!!!! I hope that they will accept to repair mine... Thanks!
