Dell M992 - slowly dying?
Greetings!
With increasing frequency, my monitor is making a "pop" sound (I can't describe it better), whereupon everything disappears for half a second or so and then reappears very accurately. I don't mind the interruptions, but I am a bit scared.
Any ideas as to what is going on?

I followed your suggestions; nothing changed. It still pops every now and then. I do think it is simply a question of "old" (the monitor has been in use for some three years) age.
