Dell new warranty policy question.......
Why did Dell send me a Refurbished/Used monitor exchange?
* If the monitor exchange is setup inside the first 30 days from the original Dell invoice date, the replacement will be New
* If the monitor exchange is setup outside the first 30 days from the original invoice date, the replacement will be Refurbished/Used
Before this new policy kicked in. It use to be if a defect happens with in 90 days of purchase. You are sent out a new one. Mine was purchased before this new policy kicked in. I am still considered with in the 90 day limit? Or does it default to the new policy of 30 days? Mine was purchased on 1-6-13 for example and I noticed the new change for 1-29-13.

That date was when I edited the macro, not when the policy changed. It is 30 days for all Dell monitors. It has been that way for a long time. The only 90 day policy I am aware of is that 90 days is the length of most Dell Outlet purchased items.
