Dell Pocket DJ Getting Music Onto Computer Help!?
I'm sorry that this is in the wrong forum, but I didn't see a place where I could put a new thread in the MP3 players forum. So I don't use the dell dj anymore, I use a much newer model of mp3 player. I was going through the old music that I had on it. I found this one song that I really like and don't know how I can move it from the Dell DJ MP3 player to my computer. I have tried installing the Dell Explorer CD on my windows 7 computer, but it will not come up whatsoever. Are there any other programs I can use to do this or is there a way that I can get Dell Explorer to work on the computer again? Please help guys, thank you all so much. Any help is needed and I thank you ahead of time.

Hi jcontreras,
Dell DJ Explorer is compatible only with Windows XP and 2000, still you can run that application in Windows 7 compatibility mode.
You can try the following steps to run application in compatibility mode:
In case it does not work, you can use any Windows XP computer and can connect your device to a computer using the USB travel cable. Transfer music tracks using the copy-and paste or drag-and-drop method using Dell DJ explorer.
NOTE: When transferring music tracks to your Dell Pocket DJ, be sure to transfer them to the Music Library folder of your Dell Pocket DJ. If you transfer music files from your PC to the Data Library folder of your Dell Pocket DJ, these music tracks will be stored as data files and will not be playable on your Dell Pocket DJ.
Connect your Dell Pocket DJ to your computer using the included USB cable and follow the steps below to access a music file:
