Dell U2412M Resolution problem
Trying to change resolution to 1280 x 800. Instead of 1280 x 800, it changes to 1280 x 960. Any thoughts? TIA

The proper resolution for the U2412M is 1920x1200 60Hz. It can do the following lower resolutions:
1920x1080
1680x1050
1600x1200
1280x1024
1024x768
800x600
720x400
640x480
Any other resolution is cuased by the video card driver and is considered "custom".

Ray6624,
Using what port (VGA/DVI/DP) ? On what video card and operating system? What ports are available on the video card?

Dell Vostro 460 Mini Tower with Windows 7 64. AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3 Vostro. Has VGA, DIV and DP ports.
Have tried VGA and DVI with same result. Do not have the proper DP Cable to try that. Thanks
