Dell U2515H Bleed or Glow? Return Necessary?

So I got the Dell U2515H and took this image with an iPhone 5S in a dark room, it doesn't look like this in person but on camera I can see heaps of light bleed and IPS Glow, is what my camera seeing normal or should I return it, all I know is that when watching with blacks on the screen you can see the bleed.

Our manufacturer does not validate our monitors in a dark room. They validate our monitors in rooms with a minimum of 150 lux which is standard office lighting. Dell does not have a full screen matching uniformity standard. It is acceptable for the corners or sides to differ somewhat from the others or center and still be within manufacturer specifications.

In standard office lighting, after you have reset the monitor to Factory defaults in the OSD (On Screen Display), you should run the monitor Built-in Diagnostics, page 56, and post pictures of the colored screens.

Here are the different colour tests and you can see the light bleeding visible especially at the bottom. Thoughts??

All those pictures look good and pass our manufacturer standard. I did not see a stuck pixel in any of them. What colored picture shows a stuck pixel? And where?

That is a Bright Sub-Pixel defect. Get it exchanged.

Set Brightness to 30 and contrast 50.

Youll notice less glow.

Cheers

I returned my U2515H twice due to horribly patchy backlighting, the third one is much better.

Keep exchanging them til you get a good one I say
