Hi,

Recently I just bought a U3011. I connected it with my lattitude E6410 via E-Port Plus Replicator/Docking Station. The dock model number is
430-3114.The connection port is dvi.

But I could not get the 2560x1600 resolution on u3011. The best I could reach is 1900x1200. My graphic card on E6410 is Intel HD Graphics. I installed the latest driver for Intel Graphics and dell u3011. According to the manuals, Intel Graphic card and dock station should be able to support 2560X1600 resolution. But resolution option only gives me 1900x1200 as possible maximum resolution. I have another dell monitor which I could connect to dock via dvi link. That monitor can reach something around 2048X1152. So I believe my laptop and docking system should at least be capable of doing a little better than 1900x1200.

Where could be the problem? Is it a good idea to set up custom resolution through screen resolution admin interface? If yes, what should be the correct parameters for: width, height, refresh rate, color depth, and underscan percentage of u3011?
