Dell UltraSharp 2208WFP
I have just committed to purchase a 2208WFP online and now I am feeling a little nervous about the panel type, as it is listed as an 'UltraSharp' monitor my expectations are that it is better than the standard E228WFP priced $100 less. Can someone confirm that I am not getting the cheap TN style panel? I no it is not likely to be an IPS panel but would hope it is at least an S-PVA.

I'm afraid it's a TN panel. Viewing angles are a good indication: 160° means TN, 178° means PVA or IPS.
