The main difference between the models is that the E2414hr does not include a DVI cable

PHL2013,
There is only one model of the E2414H. The "r" is Dell notation of the manufacturer location. As you can see here, there is only one E2414H.

There is one hint in the common user guide for both:
"Connecting the White DVI Cable (E2414H only)"
I would guess that means that the HR model does not come with the DVI cable, only the VGA.
