Dual 24" 2407fpw monitors

I want to run dual 24" monitors and i am a little confused about the DVI connections. I have a Radeon 9500 pro graphics card and am currently running two CRT's with it now. I assume that the DVI connections are superior to the VGA connections and that i cannot run two LCD's with my current card? In order to run two monitors now there is an adapter on what i believe to be the DVI port on the card, so one monitor plugs directly into the VGA port and the other monitor plugs into the DVI port via the adapter. Does that make sense? I am still trying to learn about this stuff so i appologize for the possible newbie questions! I guess my question is do i need to purchase a new card with two DVI ports in order to run two new 24" monitors? Should the new card have two DVI-I ports or DVI-D ports? Whats the difference? Thanks for all your help, it will be greatly appreciated!

The 2407fpw monitor have DVI and VGA input so you should be able to run two 2407fpw on your videocard without any adapter.

I'm not an expert, maybe someone else can confirm!

Correct, but you would probably notice a difference in quality between the two. Two x DVI would be better.
