E2210H, White Overlay/Tint/Hue

A couple days ago, I'm using my monitor which is plugged into my laptop. It's working perfectly fine. I take a break, come back a few hours later, and see that the monitor has this strange white overlay.

It's like the brightness is jacked up. No matter what settings I change, if I reset my monitor, edit the settings, it's not normal. I thought my VGA to HDMI converter must be messed up. I examine my VGA cable and see the end attached to the converter, one of the pins is crooked. So, I bought a new VGA cable and bought a new converter, replaced the old cables, but same issue. From factory reset to hard reset, I've tried it all. I'm using Windows 10 on my laptop.

Also updated my graphics card driver. Really not sure what to do from here. I have a Geforce GTX 1050.

Any thoughts? The screen is so messed up I can't use it watch videos, game, or even use it for practical use.

Not sure how to describe how it's connected like how the "Read this first before posting" suggests, but this is how I can say it. I have a VGA cable connected from the monitor to a VGA to HDMI converter. The HDMI converter is connected to my laptop.
