E2425HSM ghosting even on normal response time it's normal?
I bought an E2425HSM monitor a few days ago and it has great color accuracy, but something not right with response time, ghosting is very bad even on default Normal preset, when I drag something dark on a light screen, I see a strong blurry trail with a yellow-blue tint, 60Hz or 100Hz doesn't matter, even at a refresh rate of 100Hz the cursor leaves an unpleasant trail. As for the "Fast" response time in monitor settings, it's just broken and I don't think anyone even tested this feature before implementing it into the monitor settings.
The games have quite a strong blur and I get motion sickness in first-person games. I didn't have this on my old monitor, which had 75Hz.

I found information about this effect on Google; it's called OVERSHOOT or Inverse Ghosting. It seems to me that even with a Response Time: Normal (default) on this monitor, it's too much.
What I already tried to solve the problem:
- Factory Reset monitor settings;
- Update NVIDIA drivers;
- Install monitor driver;
- HDMI and DisplayPort cable;
- 60Hz and 100Hz.
Nothing helped me.
I pray that one day new drivers or firmware will appear for this monitor that will fix this defect.

It's unlikely a driver or firmware update will help. It's more of a function of this being an low-priced monitor -- consider returning it and ordering a monitor with a better response time. If you have any gaming aspirations at all, this is not a suitable monitor.

Gaming it's not only about multiplayer games, 200+ fps and super low input lag. Previosly I had many budget office IPS monitors and I never feel so bad experience in terms of ghosting, motion blur, etc., it seems to me that in this case something is wrong at the program level and the operation of the voltage supply to the pixels. It would be great if they added the ability to completely disable the overdrive or create another level with reduced response time. idk. Anyway it's not only about bad game experience, I see yellow tint trail when just scrolling text.

That's indicative of a low-end display panel, which in turn is due to the monitor's low price.
There are plenty of monitors with much faster response time -- if you want to stick with Dell, see

This is a good monitor overall. I'm very pleased with the color and contrast levels, I was also lucky with the glow effect it is very uniform. I have something to compare it to because I also have an expensive 1440p monitor for photo editing. The only problem with this monitor is the aggressive or not right operation of the standard overdrive (response time) mode. If I buy any other monitor for $100 there won't be such a problem.

If so, and you're not happy, do not wait for updates. Return the monitor while you can and order something you'll find more satifactory.
Not everyone perceives images the same way and what you find less than satisfactory, someone else might find acceptable.
