Energy Saving Mode Problem

When I attempt to connect my Dell monitor to my computer, a pop-up window appears either stating "Entering Energy Saving Mode" or "Entering Energy Saving Mode in 5 mins."  After a few moments the pop-up window disappears and my monitor screen remains blank....................... my desktop icons and background wallpaper fail to appear. What specific steps do I need to take to  resolve this problem............................... any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Forex Lover,

* This U3415W shipped from Dell on 3/21/19 to Amazon. So it is 5 months old. How long have you had it?

* Have you only tested the U3415W on this one custom PC? If yes, try testing it on another PC to see if the same issue happens

* Does the stand alone U3415W Built-in Diagnostics (page 61 in the online User's Guide) pass?

* List every video out port on both the Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 and GTX 1660 Ti
