Feedback: U2725QE Auto-Brightness algorithm needs optimization in dark rooms

Hello Dell Team,

I am using the Dell U2725QE monitor and would like to submit a feedback request to the firmware engineering team regarding the Auto Brightness (Ambient Light Sensor) behavior.

The Issue: When using the monitor in a completely dark room, the auto-brightness feature gets trapped in a feedback loop. If I open a large white webpage, the screen illuminates the desk/my face, which reflects back to the sensor. The sensor detects this as "brighter environment" and raises the screen brightness. When I switch to a darker tab or move slightly, the reflection drops, and the sensor dims the screen. This results in a constant, annoying flickering effect.

Suggestion: This isn't a hardware defect but an algorithm flaw. Could the engineering team please look into releasing a firmware update? Implementing a longer delay/hysteresis before brightness adjustments, or lowering the sensor's sensitivity threshold in extremely dark environments, would easily solve this issue.

Currently, the only workaround is to turn off Auto Brightness entirely, which defeats the purpose of having this premium feature.

Thank you!
