G2410 Screen Quality

I received my new G2410 last week. I'm very unhappy with the screen. At first the colors were really off, I seem to have mostly fixed that by changing the video card settings.

Now the problem is that the screen just looks kind of fuzzy or dirty. If I have a white screen up it looks splotchy, it really just looks like the screen has a fine layer of grease or something on it that makes it look bad. I tried cleaning it but that doesn't help. If I look really closely at a white background I can tell that the pixels aren't uniform in color. Some pixels are white, but others are more grayish. If I move the window around the same pixels stay somewhat gray. It almost seems like the screen covering is just not clear and was manufactured incorrectly. Text also looks fuzzy, it reminds me of using a 10 year old CRT. I have a 6 year old 19" Dell LCD and it looks better than the G2410.

I read reviews such as the CNET review that said this monitor had good image quality. I can't imaging anyone saying that this is good image quality, so I'm thinking that there is something wrong with my monitor. I really don't want to go through the hassle of returning the monitor, but it is just not worth keeping unless I can fix this problem.

I tried installing the software from the CD but it just failed to install on Windows 7 x64.
